On this site, KL City Centre covers KLCC (around the Petronas Twin Towers and KLCC Park), Bukit Bintang and Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), plus Kenny Hills. All of it is in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. According to TRX City, the Prime Minister officially launched TRX as Malaysia's International Financial Centre on 23 February 2024.
Yes. Under section 433B of Malaysia's National Land Code, a non-citizen can acquire land, including a home, only after getting written approval from the state authority where the property is located. KL City Centre is in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. The minimum price for foreign buyers differs by location, so ask me for the current figure for KL City Centre before you book.
KL City Centre is in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur (Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur), not in Selangor. KPKT's TEDUH portal lists Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur as the project state for the KL City Centre projects on this page that have a TEDUH record.
The new projects I'm currently selling in KL City Centre are Pavilion Square, Times Square 2, Divine KLCC, CloutHaus, Centrix The Station and The Eden. Each had a current advertising and sales permit on KPKT's TEDUH portal when I checked on 19 October 2026. I'm also selling Golden Crown Residence, Phoeniz Suites, Royal Lexis and MABA Suitez, and each has its own page on this site. Malaysia's Ministry of Economy guideline bars foreign buyers from units allocated to Bumiputera buyers, and a minimum price applies, so ask me which units in each project are open to you.
Of the projects I'm selling in KL City Centre, The Conlay (Certificate of Completion and Compliance issued 7 April 2025), Oxley Towers (issued 18 August 2025) and Core Residence (issued 22 July 2024) are completed, according to KPKT's TEDUH portal, checked 19 October 2026. Orion Residence and Ascott Star Residence are also completed. Ask me which units are still available.
KPKT's TEDUH portal records these handover dates under each project's first sale and purchase agreement, which I use as the estimated completion (checked 19 October 2026): Times Square 2, December 2027; Pavilion Square, July 2029; CloutHaus, July 2029; Centrix The Station, August 2029; The Eden, January 2030; Divine KLCC, October 2032. The date that applies to you is the one in your own sale and purchase agreement.

Ask me which layouts are still available.
Several Rapid KL lines serve KL City Centre. Rapid KL lists Persiaran KLCC and Conlay stations on the MRT Putrajaya Line. Rapid Rail names KLCC station on the LRT Kelana Jaya Line, Bukit Bintang station on the MRT Kajang Line, and Raja Chulan and Bukit Bintang stations on the KL Monorail. MRT Corp says passengers can change between the Kajang and Putrajaya Lines at Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) station. Ask me for the nearest station to a particular project.
Two international schools in Kuala Lumpur are The International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL), at No. 2, Lorong Kelab Polo Di Raja, Ampang Hilir, and The Alice Smith School, whose primary campus is at No. 2, Jalan Bellamy. Ask me how far each is from the project you're looking at.
Prince Court Medical Centre is at 39 Jalan Kia Peng, and Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur is on Jalan Ampang.
Suria KLCC sits at the foot of the Petronas Twin Towers, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is on Jalan Bukit Bintang, and The Exchange TRX is at the heart of the Tun Razak Exchange district.
KLCC is part of KL City Centre. For the airport, KLIA Ekspres states a journey time of 28 minutes from KL Sentral to KLIA Terminal 1, and Rapid KL lists KL Sentral and KLCC as stations on the same LRT Kelana Jaya Line.
Under Malaysia's Finance Act 2025, from 1 January 2026 the stamp duty on transferring a home to a foreign company, or to a person who is neither a Malaysian citizen nor a permanent resident, is 8% of the price or the market value, whichever is higher. There are other costs too, so ask me for a full cost breakdown for the unit you're considering. My guide Can foreigners buy property in Malaysia? explains the rules.
Bank Negara Malaysia's foreign exchange rules, in force from 1 October 2025, allow a non-resident to borrow ringgit, in any amount, from a Malaysian resident lender to buy or build residential or commercial property in Malaysia. The rules permit the borrowing; they do not require any bank to lend, so confirm with your bank before you book.
KPKT's TEDUH portal (teduh.kpkt.gov.my) lets anyone look up a housing developer's licence and its advertising and sales permits, including how long each permit is valid.
